New Area Director Support

As you work through your training of becoming an Area Director, you’ll work closely with these leadership and training staff members. Spend some time reviewing their bios by hovering over their names.

Leadership Support

Lee Wilhite

Lee will be a support for new ADs and their Local Area Board (LAB).  He schedules regular calls with each Area Director to touch base. 

Area Director Onboarding Trainer

Caleb Crider

Caleb will serve as your guide through the AD onboarding process. You will meet with him weekly as part of your onboarding training.

Area Director Mentor

Trent Combs

Trent will serve as your mentor during your onboarding process and will meet with you weekly. He will continue to support you with regular calls and visits during your first year.

During your next meeting with your mentor, ask them to provide you with context for various individuals you’ll work more closely with.
As your training goes on, your trainer and mentor will make introductions and recommendations for people to connect with.

MI Team Time Meetings

Every Monday at 11am Pacific Time, Area Directors gather on a Teams meeting.

Each call will open with:

  • Scripture reading lead by a team member
  • Prayer
  • Updates, announcements, reports, etc

The remainder of the call will focus on one of the following topics:

  • Peer to Peer Learning
  • Personal and Professional Development
  • Curriculum and Training
  • MI Global Prayer

Assignment: Meet the NRC Team

Approx. 4 hrs

NRC staff members often say their greatest joy is making Area Directors look good, and making their jobs easier. We’re here to support you.

With the help of Brenda Waggoner, coordinate 30 minute “get-to-know-you” meetings with each of members of the NRC team from the charts above. You can choose to skip people for whom you’ve already spent time getting to know.
